Lower Tuolumne

We'll be fishing the Lower Tuolumne near the town of La Grange. This is a great beginner to intermediate outing with easy wading and is only a short 2 hour drive from the Bay Area.
We'll be camping nearby at Don Pedro Reservoir. Camping will be paid by GPFF. We have campsites A-7 and A-8 In the Blue Oaks Area reserved. These sites should have plenty of space but only include 2 vehicles total. Any extra vehicles will have to pay a $20/day fee for parking.
This area offers fishing of riffles and runs in the river with nymphs and dry fly techniques. Upstream below the dam, larger fish can be targeted with streamers. If you prefer stillwater fishing, there's excellent bass fishing in Don Pedro Reservoir.
As usual, we'll do a potluck on Saturday night so bring drinks or a dish to share.
